Shipping policy

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

Shut The Gate Wines delivers within Australia only.

Unfortunately we do not currently deliver internationally.

If your order is damaged or lost in transit we will replace in full with the damaged stock returned to us. We can deliver to a Australia Post PO Box.


HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

Deliveries to metro areas may take 2 - 7 business days to arrive, and delivery to rural areas may take 2 - 10 business days.

Please note that during peak holiday times and severe weather events freight may take longer to arrive.

During heatwave conditions Shut The Gate Wines will delay the despatch of orders until conditions improve to protect the goods. Customers will be notified if this were to occur.

 

STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGES & FREE SHIPPING

Our standard shipping rate is $10 per order to Adelaide and $20 per order nationally.

Shut The Gate Wines may offer free freight options for member promotions and wine club subscriptions for set inclusive periods.

Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

Customers may request an "Authority to Leave" and enter delivery instructions during the checkout process. After dispatch, customers will receive an email tracking notification, and can also lodge an "Authority to Leave" request through this avenue. If no "Authority to Leave" is requested at either of these points, a signature will be required from the recipient in order to deliver the parcel. Should there be no one home to receive the parcel, it will be taken to the nearest Australia Post Office and a notification card left.

Shut The Gate Wines will not deliver wines to individuals under 18 years of age. When delivering an order, if a recipient appears under 25 years of age, Australia Post will check ID to confirm they are 18 years or older, and get a signature from the recipient. If sufficient ID cannot be sighted, a notification card will be left, and your order will be taken to a nearby Australia Post Office for collection.

Shut The Gate Wines, and any associated contractors, are not responsible for any parcels that are lost or stolen as a result of the "Authority to Leave" delivery method. Please note that in some circumstances we may not be able to leave your order as direct under an "Authority to Leave" request. In this case, your order will be redirected to your local Australia Post Office for collection at your convenience.


CHANGE OF ADDRESS/ORDER DETAILS

If you have entered an incorrect address or require some of your order details to be amended, please contact us on 08 88434114 or via cellardoor@shutthegate.com.au as soon as possible. Please note that we may be unable to change your shipping address or amend your order once it has been processed.


HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an order with all your tracking information. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for dispatch information to be updated via the tracking link.
