It was a matter of principle for my siblings and I to race to the gates and haggle over who would open and shut the gates. This term while being a serious Aussie country rule has many connotations in winemaking, business and urban life in general. Just remember to shut the bloody gate, the horse always kicks and the guns always loaded. Rules help sometimes.”
